Our Story

Founded in 2018, Excelsior Films is a Film Production company that specializes in the creation of film and other media-based projects that emphasize inclusion, representation and diversity in front of and behind the camera.

Excelsior Films aims to take the nearly-universally loved medium of film and inject it with the much needed, often discussed, but rarely utilized diversity that has been called for by the movie-going public for years. We will bring top-notch entertainment and art to the big screen that is created, curated and crafted by people who do not typically get represented in film. Specifically, we believe we can create content that inspires people and allows them to feel seen and heard. We strive to allow those whom are not usually in the conversation to be a part of the larger conversation being had both domestically and internationally.

Aside from our focus on representing those who are not often represented in film or on the crews who craft those films, we look to create and collaborate with artists in order to have a deluge of work that is consumed by the masses. We want to create films that are devoured by those who love film.
